Is it really the same if they're from different universes, though?

How isn't it? I mean, you have the basics anyway. I've dated two Downworlders from two totally different places that may as well have been the same. I mean, the Fair Folk are the Fair Folk no matter where you go, and Remus is pretty much like every other werewolf I've ever met.

What about other people? There are those who use magic here who aren't warlocks, for example.

I'm just not sure the same categories hold inter-universally.

Magic is magic is magic, isn't it? It's mostly pretty colours and being totally lazy anyway. [dismissive flap of the hand.]

Most of them haven't complained so far. Besides Harry, but I don't know that that could be considered complaining.

I don't know enough about magic to be able to tell you that, but I still think it might be different.
